Can a car still start and drive after airbags go off?

I'm interested in an auction vehicle where only the front airbags deployed in a light impact. Does airbag deployment automatically trigger electrical cut-offs, fuel pump shut-offs, or safety locks that make the engine impossible to start without major repairs?
