What is Riba (Interest in common term)

What is Riba? Do we know that clearly? Do we know that if we consume Riba, our prayer is not getting accepted? Do we know that Consumer of Riba is Similar to that worst human who does adultery with his mother (nawujubillah)? All just I said are from sahih hadith of our beloved prophet (saw).  Let's have clear concept about Riba and save our both lives.
