Bio

Ammar Shahin was born in Egypt,  where he began his Islamic training at a young age. He memorized the Qur’an at the age of twelve. He continued his Islamic education, graduating from the Institute for Preparation of Preachers with a diploma in Islamic studies. He continued to study with many scholars, receiving ijazaat (licenses) in various Islamic sciences. His studies include studying Shafi’, Hanbali, and Maliki Madhhab.

He also pursued a B.A. at Al-Azhar University in the Islamic Sciences and Arabic language, and received a second B.A. and M.A. at the IUM. He has been an Imam in various mosques across the United States. The sheikh holds Quran Ijazah in different mode of recitations with a chain connecting to the prophet peace be upon him. He studied with great scholars of our time, receiving Ijazah of (licenses to narrate) the six books of Hadith, Fiqh, etc under Sheikhs Abdullah AlObaied, Dr. Waleed Almenessi, Sh.Mohammed Hassan, Ahmed hutaybah,  wahid Bali and many more.

The sheikh has over 15 years of experience performing Ruqyah to treat black magic and possession . In addition to this, the sheikh runs educational and training workshops in the u.s. and abroad.
