Fatimah believes that the most important aspect of the therapeutic experience is the relationship and alliance between the counselor and the client. She is based in the humanistic school of therapy and combines techniques from cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment and person-centered therapies.
Fatimah believes that counseling doesn’t have to only be about solving problems but can be about self-discovery and self-development. She believes anyone may benefit from a safe and unjudgmental environment for processing life’s experiences.
