My name is Lubna Yousef. I was born in Kuwait but am originally from Palestine. I moved to America with my parents when I was only 16 years old. I am a mom of five children. I received my Bachelor's degree in 2017 and am currently in school for my Master's degree in Arabic Linguistics. I first started teaching Arabic at Sunday school. Currently I am teaching Arabic at an Islamic private school called American Youth Academy. I teach a wide variety of ages from second graders all the way up to ninth grade. I believe that Arabic is important for our children to know since Arabic is the language of the Quran. I am also planning on receiving my Ph.D in Arabic.
