My name is Mushfiq Quabili. I was born in Nigeria and raised in Houston, TX. My parents are from Bangladesh. We moved to America when I was 2 years old. At the age of 13, I completed my memorization of the Quran and went to South Africa to pursue my Studies to become an Islamic Scholar at the age of 14. I studied in Darul-Uloom Azaadville in Johannesburg. Over a span of about 7 years, I studied Arabic, Hadith, Fiqh, Tafseer, Qiraat, and much more. I have received ijaazaat in all my books and subjects Alhamdulillah. I would come back every year during the month of Ramadan and I would make sure I was well connected with the community in Houston. After completing I have been working with a few different organizations and Masaajid. I teach Quran and Islamic St. at Iman Academy SE. I am an Imam, Khateeb, and Counselor at Clear Lake Islamic Center. I work with MCC Clear Lake and hold new Muslim classes a few times a month. I have quite a bit of experience with parent-child relationships and marital counseling. Working with the youth is a passion of mine and keeping couples together and making their bond stronger is my goal. I am also a Realtor with Exp Realty.
