I got an SMS saying there was an issue with a delivery and asking me to follow a link. It looked like an InPost message, but I’m not expecting anything. Can I check the number before doing anything?

I wouldn’t click the link in that SMS, especially if you aren’t expecting a delivery. Even if the message looks like it came from a familiar company, it’s safer to verify it independently. You can first search the sending number through https://scannero.com/who-called-me/poland/ and check whether anything has been reported. I’d also open the official InPost website or app separately and check for deliveries there rather than following a link from an unexpected message.
