I made a choice to write this post from this beautiful place in the golf of Aqaba, Jordan.
I mention the word choice, if you noticed.
I have some good news that I would like to share with you. One is that you are a leader. I don’t know your definition of what does constitute a leader!
Maybe for some of you, a leader is someone who leads a big company or maybe someone who leads a big team etc. In my definition you are a leader because you make choices in life and you are accountable for your choices. So with leadership comes responsibility. Leaders are responsible for their words.
This is leading from within. It’s the first pillar of leadership which requires knowing more about self like personality type which includes the characteristics that make you who you are . And the acknowledgment that you might have received from others and the values you carry and honor which influence your decision and the choices you make.
Another piece of good news I would like to share is about impact. I often hear from my individual clients that in their search for life purpose, they want to be impactful . And they get fascinated by knowing that everyone is making some sort of impact on others whether intentionally or unintentionally.
So, as I mentioned at the begging. I made a choice to write this post. The impact you want to make depends on your choices.
So now we have establish that leadership starts from within and leaders are responsible for their actions.

Hi everyone. This is a bit of an introduction post too as I have just signed up as a provider. I have been in the mental health services since 2007 and am a qualified Addiction Counsellor. In the last 7 years I have been working as a Child and Adolescent Counsellor in schools. I have combined my knowledge and passion as a Running and Fitness Leader to take a therapeutic approach to sports and fitness, in particular through Mindfulness Running.
I have produced many free audio meditation guided runs via a podcast and YouTube channel. I would love if you went on a run with me and passed on your thoughts.
